Hector E. Morales, MD / Vein Surgeon
Dr. Hector E. Morales is certified and re-certified by the American Board of Surgery with additional certification in Advanced Vascular Technology.
Having received his vascular training in the United States and Europe, Dr. Morales is a member of ten medical associations, including the American College of Surgeons and the International College of Surgeons.
With several decades of experience treating varicose and spider veins, he can offer the best choices of treatment for each patient with the latest technology.
Dr. Morales has served many prominent positions in our medical community and provides volunteer medical services in Austin as well as in Latin America.
Anand D. Patel MD / Facial Plastic Surgeon
Anand D. Patel MD specializes in plastic surgery of the face and neck and brings to
Austin a philosophy of natural and long-lasting facial rejuvenation and augmentation.
He firmly believes the best plastic surgery is subtle and gives a refreshed look.

Dr. Patel completed fellowship training with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) in Houston, Texas and is board-certified with the American Board of Otolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery (ABOTO). These paths of training complement one another by providing a strong foundation in both the functional and cosmetic aspects of surgery in the head and neck region.
Dr. Patel was valedictorian of his high school and completed his undergraduate work at the University of California, San Diego where he was selected for membership to the Caledonian Honor Society and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Prior to deciding on medicine as a profession, he held professional positions in journalism and software engineering. He then completed medical training at the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine where he was a Dean’s Scholar and elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Society. Dr Patel completed his head and neck surgery residency at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in New York City, which is the nation's first specialty hospital. There he developed novel research to improve ways to differentiate types of thyroid cancer using minimally-invasive techniques. During that time he also took part in a humanitarian mission to Santa Marta, Colombia to repair cleft lips and palates in children.
Dr. Patel is now involved with the National Domestic Violence Project and Faces of Honor components of the Face to Face program developed by the AAFPRS. He provides pro bono consultation and plastic surgery to victims of domestic violence who sustained facial injuries and cannot financially afford treatment, as well as to veterans who were deployed in Iraq or Afghanistan. He is actively involved in or has published research papers about both the cosmetic and reconstructive aspects of facial plastic surgery, some of which are listed below.

R. John Fox, Jr., M.D.
Dr. R. John Fox, Jr., has been a Dermatologist in the Austin area since 1976. He received his training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended medical school there followed by his internship at Cleveland Metropolitan Hospital. He completed his residency at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinic in Hanover, New Hampshire. Dr. Fox is board certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. He is also board certified in Dermatopathology by the American Board of Dermatopathology.
Dr. Fox is a member of the Travis County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association. He is also a member of the Austin Dermatology Society, the Texas Dermatology Society, the American Academy of Dermatology and the Rotary Club of Austin.
Dr. Fox is cosmetic provider and owner of Devenir Aesthetics.
Dale Schaefer, M.D.
Dr. Dale Schaefer is an owner and practicing physician in general Dermatology at Austin Dermcare since 1987, and Devenir Aesthetics since 2002. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with highest honors in 1980 with a BA in Biology. He received his Medical Degree from Baylor College of Medicine with honors in 1987. Texas Monthly has named him a “Super Doc” every year from 2004 through 2011. Dr. Schaefer has been very active in medical teaching, and in 2009 the University of Texas Medical Branch named him a “Top Doc” for teaching excellence. Dr. Schaefer has been Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology since 1987.
